  The project brief required creating a set of alphabet designs featuring at least one color harmony. I chose animals as my theme, incorporating real animals for most letters, with the exceptions of U, V, and X. I used a split complementary color harmony. A challenge in designing some letters was figuring out how to incorporate an animal into their shapes. For instance, the letter E is represented by an elephant, but the letter’s structure didn’t match the elephant’s form, making it challenging to design. On the other hand, letters like G, for giraffe, were easier to create due to their resemblance to the animal’s shape. One of the more enjoyable designs was the letter K, which depicts a koala on a tree branch. All letters were created as vector illustrations in Illustrator.
